The Eruption 7| Burn to Compete & Ape In Contest ("Promotion") begins 6:00 PM ET Eastern Time ("ET") on June 1, 2023 and ends 6:00 PM ET on June 6, 2023 (the "Promotion Period"). 

The Promotion is open to individuals who are the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence as of date of entry and are current VeeFriends members with a digital wallet and have at least one (1) "Please Take a Step Back" NFT as of 5:59 PM ET on 6/1/23 ("Entrant"). All Entrants must submit/burn at least one (1) "Please Take a Step Back" NFT ("Submission Token") via the VeeFriends website, located at VeeFriends.com/burn-island to have the opportunity to enter the Promotion. You must burn a separate Submission Token for each Submission. Employees of Vee Friends, LLC ("Sponsor"), their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, partners and prize suppliers (collectively, "Released Parties"), and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) and household members of each (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate or win. Void in Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Vermont USA; Brazil; Greece; India; Hong Kong, China; Italy; Malaysia; Russia; Switzerland; and Quebec, Canada and where otherwise prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. During the Promotion Period, visit veefriends.com/burn-island ("Site") and login to your VeeFriends account. Upon logging in, Entrants can confirm if they are eligible to participate in the Promotion. To be eligible, you must have at least one (1) Submission Token. If you are eligible and wish to participate in the Promotion, you can burn one (1) Submission Token for the opportunity to participate in the Promotion. After you have successfully burned a Submission Token, you will be required to answer twenty (20) randomly generated multiple-choice trivia questions to earn points (an "Entry"). Points are determined by the speed and accuracy of your answers. The maximum number of points per Entry is one hundred six (106). The trivia questions will be based on four (4) topics: VeeFriends, Bored Ape Yacht Club, GaryVee, and Snoop Dogg. There is no limit to the number of entries a per person/VeeFriends account. At the conclusion of the Promotion Period, the Entrant with the highest number of correct answers and who completed the trivia questions in the shortest amount of time will be deemed the Grand Prize winner. The next Entrant with the highest number of correct answers in the shortest amount of time will be deemed the First Prize winner. The next Entrant with the highest number of correct answers in the shortest amount of time will be deemed the Second Prize winner. The next Entrant with the highest number of correct answers in the shortest amount of time will be deemed the Third Prize winner. The next seven (7) Entrants with the highest number of correct answers in the shortest amount of time will be deemed the Fourth Prize winners. In the event of a tie, those Entrants that are tied will need to have their entrance token sent back to them and they will then have the opportunity to retake the quiz in the same manner that they did initially and such process will repeat until tie is broken. Any game plays or any portion that is generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the game play process are void. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules. Grand Prize winner, First Prize winner, Second Prize winner, Third Prize winner, and Fourth Prize winners will be collectively referred to as "winners". Grand Prize, First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize, and Fourth Prizes will be collectively referred to as "prizes".

By executing the burn function on your Submission Token, it is a permanent and irreversible action, making it no longer available for ownership or trade. You must include your digital wallet address supported on MetaMask, WalletConnect or other wallet extensions or gateways as allowed on the Site. When you provide your cryptocurrency wallet, you understand and agree that you are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and your control over any wallet-related authentication credentials, private or public cryptocurrency keys, non-fungible tokens or cryptocurrencies that are stored in or are accessible through your wallet. Standard data/usage rates from your online/phone service provider may apply. You may only submit your wallet and email address once. Incomplete entries or entries not complying with these Official Rules are subject to disqualification, at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of delivery.

• Third Prize (1): A Bored Kennel Club #1452 NFT (ARV USD$8,600);
• Fourth Prize (7): A 1,000 ApeCoin ($APE) (ARV USD$3,200 each).

Total ARV of the all prizes in the Promotion is USD$192,000. The prizes will be awarded to the digital wallet associated with the winner's VeeFriends account. Any taxes or duties on the prizes are the sole responsibility of winners. No transfer, substitution or cash equivalent permitted, except Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute an item of equal or greater value in the event the token is not available for any reason. 

The potential prize winners will be notified via email and will then be required to sign and return, a Declaration of Eligibility/Release of Liability and where legal, a Publicity Release ("Declaration") within 48 hours of notification attempt. Noncompliance within this time period or prize or prize notification being returned as non-deliverable may result in disqualification and the prize to be forfeited and awarded to the next Entrant with the highest number of correct answers in the shortest amount of time. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given. 

By participating in this Promotion, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor/Administrator. By accepting a prize, each winner agrees that the Sponsor and those acting under the Sponsor's authority may use winner's name, picture/portrait, likeness, and/or hometown/country, for advertising and promotional purposes without further consideration, unless prohibited by law. By accepting a prize, each winner agrees that Sponsor and their subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and Promotion agencies, including the Administrator, and their directors, employees, representatives and agents, partners and prize suppliers have no liability whatsoever for, and will be held harmless by winner for any liability for any injury, loss or damages of any kind (including death) to persons, and property damages sustained, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize or participation in this Promotion or any prize-related activity. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the Promotion materials or the offering or announcement of the prizes. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the Entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and award the prizes from among all eligible Entries received prior to cancellation. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, Entry. Sponsor is not responsible for: (a) incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Entry information or late, or incomplete Entries received through impermissible or illegitimate channels, all of which will be disqualified; (b) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any telephone, computer online systems, computer equipment, website, server provider, network, hardware or software; (c) the unavailability or inaccessibility of the Site or service; (d) unauthorized intervention in any part of the Entry process or this Promotion; or (e) printing, typographical, electronic or human errors which may occur in the Promotion or administration of this Promotion or the processing of Entries. Entrants/winners agree that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, or the prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and solely and exclusively by the United States Federal Court in California USA or the appropriate State Court located in California in the U.S.; Entrants/winners submit to sole and exclusive personal jurisdiction to said courts exclusively in the United States Court for San Francisco County, California in the U.S. or the appropriate State Court located in California for any such dispute and irrevocably waives any and all rights to object to such jurisdiction; (b) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion but in no event attorneys' fees; and (c) under no circumstances will Entrants/winners be permitted to obtain awards for and Entrants/winners hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
