Welcome to the closing chapter of 2025: our End of Year Recap! This year was packed with momentum, creativity, and connection, and none of it would have been possible without the VeeFriends community that continues to show up every step of the way.
2025 was a meaningful step forward for VeeFriends. From the launch of Topps VeeFriends Chrome and new comic book storytelling, to premium physical collectibles, in person moments at major events, and continued world building across digital and physical experiences, the focus was clear: community, collectibility, and characters.
Thank you, to the holders, collectors, readers, players, and fans who brought VeeFriends to life throughout the year. Whether you were ripping packs, reading comics, competing in TCG tournaments, attending conventions, joining livestreams, or discovering your favorite VeeFriends characters in 2025, you played a role in shaping everything this amazing year became.
Here's a look back at the biggest moments from 2025.

2025 kicked off with fresh energy and new collectibles that set the tone for an exciting start to the year.
VeeFriends opened 2025 with the New Year New You Mystery Collection. This drop blended self reflection with collectibility, featuring a mix of collectible pins and surprises designed to celebrate progress, intention, and the mindset of starting strong.
Next came the "Gritty" Ghost Cap from VeeFriends' headwear line, FriendsCaps. The limited drop introduced a bold new character, giving collectors a wearable way to rep the hard-nosed grind through character-driven design.
VeeFriends continued its commitment to Web3 in 2025 by launching new Burn Island activations, allowing NFT holders to burn assets like BOOK GAMES tokens for a chance at exclusive digital or physical rewards!

February brought the VeeFriends community together in person, while commemorating the 2024 VeeCon superconference!
VeeFriends revealed the official VeeCon 2024 Ticket NFT artwork as the VeeCon Viper Collection, a generative PFP upgrade that turned every ticket into a one of one collectible. The drop introduced a full rarity and trait system and included 11 exclusive 1/1s created with community connected artists, giving VeeCon ticket holders something lasting beyond the event itself.
Gift Goats gathered at d.b.a. New Orleans for a private night built around connection and culture. The event featured live entertainment, free food and drinks, music, and appearances from Reggie Bush, Adrian Peterson, Mareko Maumasi, and more. The experience even had attendees creating their own trading card live on site, turning the night into something people could take home as a memory.

March marked a visible evolution for VeeFriends, pairing a refreshed brand identity with a real world activation that brought the characters to the dining table.
VeeFriends rolled out a brand refresh anchored by a new logo, a shift to purple as the primary color, and an even greater commitment to Very, Very, Very, Very Lucky Black Cat as a signature mascot. The update tightened the brand's look and feel while making the universe more instantly recognizable across products, platforms, and experiences.
That refreshed energy carried into an exciting collaboration as VeeFriends partnered with UNO Pizzeria and Grill to redesign kids menus across 40+ UNOs locations nationwide. This turned a family dining staple into an interactive experience, featuring VeeFriends characters, games, and activities that encouraged creativity and fun at the table for younger fans and families.
VeeFriends announced a Gift Goat bonus gift: Topps VeeFriends Chrome 2025 Sapphire Edition. The update gave eligible Gift Goat holders a premium, limited sealed Topps Chrome product, adding more weight to Gift Goat utility.

May was a milestone month that pushed momentum for VeeFriends storytelling, competitive play, collectibility, and live events.
The VeeFriends comic universe began in a big way with the release of VeeFriends Comic Book #1: The Battle for Balance Begins. The issue set the foundation for a new world of storytelling and officially kicked off the VeeFriends Canon Age. That momentum continued with the sell out release of VeeFriends Comic Book #2: Fearless Fairy, which reinforced how the comics serve as a narrative backbone for the broader VeeFriends world.
VeeFriends took flight with the launch of VeeFriends Topps Chrome 2025. To celebrate, VeeFriends teamed up with PSA Magazine for a special issue of PSA Magazine featuring VeeFriends cover artwork, exclusive Super Sticker inserts, and an exciting preview of the Topps VeeFriends Chrome 2025 collection.
On May 7th, Topps Chrome launch day, we hosted a high energy midnight livestream on Whatnot. GaryVee and the VeeFriends team ripped boxes live and gave away over 100 cards. When the collection went live to the public later that morning, Blaster and Hobby Boxes flew off the shelves, and rare pulls immediately started flooding social feeds and eBay. GaryVee then hit the road to celebrate with a Tri-State Chrome signing tour, capped by a surprise finale at the Secret Card Party at Dave & Adam's New York City that brought collectors face to face with Gary.
That momentum continued as VeeFriends merged digital and physical collectibles with the Refractor Scene Swap activation. This allowed collectors who pulled or secured a 1/1 Superfractor from Topps Chrome, and also held the matching Series 2 NFT, to unlock an exclusive scene swap for their token.
Zooming out, Topps VeeFriends Chrome 2025 was one of if not the most impactful moments of this year, expanding the reach and awareness of VeeFriends to new heights. Since release, tens of thousands of collectors have begun their VeeFriends collection, and are discovering their favorite VeeFriend. We already can't wait for Topps VeeFriends Chrome 2026.
Topps Chrome wasn't the only VeeFriends Cards news in May, as competitive play also leveled up with the launch of the VeeFriends TCG Play Network. The network gave players clearer paths to sanctioned events, structured play, community driven competition, and an official road to the 2025 VeeFriends TCG Championship.

VeeFriends characters were reimagined with the VeeFriends x Adam Lister capsule. This collaboration brought Adam Lister's signature pixelated watercolor style to five characters across highly limited hoodies, tees, prints, and totes. This collaboration marked an exciting crossover moment as VeeFriends dove deeper into the streetwear world alongside a distinctive contemporary artist.
And on the biggest stage of the month, VeeFriends returned to Fanatics Fest NYC. With 125,000+ attendees in the building, Fanatics Fest NYC became a massive entry point for VeeFriends, introducing thousands to the brand for the first time while reconnecting with the VeeFriends community. VeeFriends brought an immersive booth experience, show exclusives, and live Topps Chrome breaks, along with GaryVee in attendance to meet the fans. The day after Fanatics Fest NYC concluded, VeeFriends remained in NYC to host the first official TCG Regional Qualifier of 2025, turning it into a memorable night of gameplay and community. In a tight final, @dantheman72813 took the win, locking in a spot at the 2025 TCG Championship and setting the pace for the season ahead.

These collaborations with major retailers and globally recognized brands helped push VeeFriends to new audiences and collector communities. They also reinforced VeeFriends as a modern, cross-category collectibles brand.
The collectibles lineup expanded further with the introduction of Super Stickers: Spectacular Series, which will ship in February 2026, and spotlight the most coveted tier in VeeFriends collecting: the Spectaculars. This series, which honors VeeFriends NFTs, brings the Spectacular rarity into physical form across six foil treatments: Lava, Bubble Gum, Diamond, Hologram, Gold, and Emerald. Super Stickers: Spectacular Series also levels up the insert game, with 8 insert types that collectors can hunt for. The product also includes sweepstakes for 15 1/1 Series 2 Spectacular NFTs, turning boxes into a mix of set building, hit hunting, and high stakes surprises.

There was also a major step forward in VeeFriends NFT accessibility and onboarding. VeeFriends launched its official storefront on Rarible, making it easier than ever for fans to explore and collect VeeFriends NFTs with wallet sign-in and credit card checkout. Alongside that, the VeeFriends Wallet protected by Privy was introduced, removing friction from NFT onboarding and giving newcomers a simple, user-friendly way to get started collecting NFTs.
Finally, a foundational infrastructure update was made as BOOK GAMES officially moved from IMX to Base. November brought a blend of premium physical releases, new stories, milestones, and high-stakes eruptions.

These collectibles included a Gemstone Pin with 12 authentic sapphires set in an 18K gold plated frame, an NGC graded coin, a Debut Sapphire colorway Super Sticker for the featured characters, and a Classic Pin spanning multiple rarities, including the first ever 1/1 pin rarity. Some chests also hid special "treasures" that swapped in for the standard Gemstone Pin or Super Sticker, adding an extra layer of surprise for the luckiest collectors.
On the storytelling front, VeeFriends Comic Book #8: Gary Bee was released to coincide with GaryVee's 50th birthday, making it a true milestone issue for the VeeFriends universe. The story placed Gary Bee, a character directly inspired by GaryVee, at the center of a narrative exploring kindness and the ripple effect it can have on others. That real-world connection made the release feel even more personal, turning the book into both a meaningful storytelling moment and a standout collectible for the community.
For the first time since BOOK GAMES' moved to Base, Burn Island experienced its first Eruption. BOOK GAMES holders had an exclusive chance to win a Topps VeeFriends Chrome 2025 Sapphire Box, worth approximately $6,000.
