Phase 1 will allow ANY "5s" Series 1 VeeFriends holder to swap for free (no burn required) ANY Series 2 Character with the "5s" trait from their existing pose to a new "Pin" pose! This will be the first-time ever a Burn Island Eruption allows eligible holders to not burn for a prize.
Phase 2 | BURN Swap for Series 2 "5s" Holders
Friday July 12th @ 2 PM ET - Friday, July 19th @ 2 PM ET
After Phase 1 ends, Phase 2 will begin where ANY "5s" Series 2 NFT will be eligible to burn ANY (1) BOOK GAMES token in exchange to transform their characters pose into "Pin pose!

The Pose: Pin
The Pose titled "Pin" represents an important pillar in the VeeFriends physical collectible ecosystem. VeeFriends Pins are a core part of collectibility within our universe from our inaugural Gift Goat pin, exclusive event pins, and mystery collections all centered around fun and exciting ways to collect your favorite VeeFriends characters.
With that in mind, Pin Pose is exclusively only available to "5s" Series 2 characters. This marks Eruption 18 as an important activation exclusively for our "5s" VeeFriends holders, especially for our Series 1 holders as this also marks the first-ever Burn Island activation where burning is not required, specifically for Series 1 "5s" holders!

WHO: Series 1 & Series 2 "5s" Character token holders
REQUIREMENT: Hold Any (1) VeeFriends Series 2 "5s" token
Series 2 Gift Goat, Spectaculars, Actively Competing poses, and Dynamic Scenes such as Clouds & Dirt, TOKYOLUV, and Indy Canal 2023 are not eligible for this Pose Swap.
BURN: Any (1) BOOK GAMES token
NOTE: Pose Swap is FREE Series 1 "5s" holders per token owned.

What is a Pose Swap?
Pose Swap is a unique way to transform your VeeFriends Series 2 token(s) artwork by changing the pose of your VeeFriends Series 2 character through Burn Island.
*It's important to note that your Series 2 NFT will NOT be burned. You will, at times, be required to burn a different VeeFriends token such as BOOK GAMES, or other eligibility requirements, while some swaps may not require a burn to change your existing Series 2 NFT Pose and related metadata properties information. The choice of change falls within your hands, you choose your own destiny. If you do not participate in Burn Island "Pose Swap," no metadata altering will happen, and your Series 2 NFT will remain in its original state.
How to Pose Swap
Pose Swap is an incredibly easy process, just follow the steps below outlined in this tutorial video:
Begin by accessing Burn Island at https://veefriends.com/burn-island
Verify your eligibility by logging into your account and clicking "Check Eligibility"
If you qualify, you will receive a prompt to proceed to the next steps, click "Proceed"
Choose the token(s) you wish to burn and acknowledge the Terms and Conditions
Handpick your eligible Series 2 Tokens for Pose Swap!
After you make your selection, you will be redirected to a 'Preview Page' where you will be able to see the potential final products of your burn-pose swap - click 'Accept' if you are satisfied with the changes you are about to make to your token pose.
Finally, confirm and execute the token burn
Please Note: One swap will be available for each unique character scene. Holders of the same character can only swap if their scene differs from those already swapped. Tokens that have already had their combo pose/background swapped will appear in the "Ineligible Tokens" section of the token selection screen.
What are "5s" VeeFriends Characters and Why Do They Matter?
In the VeeFriends universe "5s" and "Signatures" reference VeeFriends characters that feature a number "5" or a Gary Vaynerchuk "Signature" on a VeeFriends character from the original artwork drawn by Gary while developing the VeeFriends characters or featured in the Series 2 collection.
From a collectibility perspective, they matter for different reasons. For 5 characters, not only are these drawn on select VeeFriends characters, but the number 5 is Gary's favorite number. You may often see Gary also taking pictures holding up five fingers not only because it's his favorite number, but because of a deeper meaning. Growing up, at the age of 5, Gary wanted a Jets jersey but at the time his family could not afford it. Several weeks later, his mother knitted him a personalized Jet's jersey with the number 5 on the front. It was then the number 5 garnered deeper meaning becoming the reason Gary often takes pictures holding up the number 5 in front of his chest.
