This update officially displays which VeeFriends characters are deemed "5s" and "Signatures" characters in the VeeFriends ecosystem. What are "5s" and "Signatures" Characters? Why Do They Matter?

In the VeeFriends universe, "5s" and "Signatures" reference VeeFriends characters that feature a number "5s" or a Gary Vaynerchuk "Signatures" on a VeeFriends character from the original artwork drawn by Gary while developing the VeeFriends characters or featured in the Series 2 collection.

From a collectibility perspective, they matter for different reasons. For 5s characters, not only are these "5s" fun, hidden symbols drawn on select VeeFriends characters, but the number 5 is Gary's favorite number. You may often see Gary also taking pictures holding up five fingers, not only because it's his favorite number but because of a deeper meaning. Growing up at the age of 5, Gary wanted a Jets jersey, but his family could not afford it at the time. Several weeks later, his mother knitted him a personalized Jet's jersey with the number 5 on the front. It was then, the number 5 garnered deeper meaning, which became why Gary often takes pictures holding up the number 5 in front of his chest.

As for Signatures characters, having Gary's signature on the VeeFriends character artwork becomes a unique easter egg around the collectibility of the character having Gary's signature be a part of the VeeFriends character's design. Although there are only select characters with either a "5s" or "Signatures" property, even fewer characters have BOTH, making the collectability of each that much more fun and exciting from a historical and character lore perspective 😊 .
