In addition, there will be a bevy of entertainment. This first-of-its-kind, multi-day event held specifically for a maximum attendance of 10,255 (total population of VeeFriends Series 1 NFTs) and will be a real-life demonstration of NFT smart contract technology in action.

What is a VeeCon 2022 Ticket NFT? 🎫

VeeCon 2022 Ticket NFTs are the genesis tickets to the megaconference VeeCon, which will be hosted for 3 years (2022, 2023 and 2024). Not only is The VeeCon Ticket NFTs your admission into VeeCon, they will also act as a collectible in itself as they will not be burned after VeeCon AND Gary has hinted at a collaboration with special artists to design these VeeCon Ticket NFTs.

Note: you cannot purchase the VeeCon Ticket NFT to sell the access and keep the NFT. To attend VeeCon, you must have the VeeCon 2022 Ticket NFT present for all days of the event.

How Do I Get VeeCon Tickets to Attend VeeCon 2022?

In order to attend VeeCon, you will need a VeeCon Ticket NFT. We'll breakdown the 3 ways to get a VeeCon Ticket NFT and attend VeeCon below:

Owning a VeeFriends Series 1 NFT

The only guaranteed way you can attend VeeCon is by owning a VeeFriends Series 1 NFT before the VeeCon NFT is airdropped to Series 1 holders. If you own a VeeFriends Series 1 NFT, you will be airdropped a separate VeeCon 2022 Ticket NFT into the wallet that holds the VeeFriends Series 1 NFT and that will be your VeeCon 2022 Ticket NFT needed to attend VeeCon 2022.

Burning BOOK GAMES tokens in Exchange for VeeCon 2022 Ticket NFTs

Since Gary owns VeeFriends Series 1 NFTs, he will be receiving VeeCon 2022 Ticket NFTs into his wallet. At the launch of BOOK GAMES, Gary decided to add his VeeCon 2022 Ticket NFTs available for exchange on the BOOK GAMES Exchange website. By burning the required BOOK GAMES tokens, you are able to receive one of Gary's Originally Owned (G.O.O.) VeeCon 2022 Ticket NFTs to use and attend VeeCon.

Buying a VeeCon 2022 Ticket NFT on the Secondary Market

Once VeeCon 2022 Ticket NFTs have been airdropped to eligible wallets, if any are listed for sale on the secondary markets such as OpenSea, you can purchase one and use it to attend VeeCon 2022. How to Burn BOOK GAMES Tokens for VeeCon Tickets During the Burn Sale:

Step 1 Head over to https://veefriends.com/book-games/exchange

Step 2 Click on "VeeCon Tickets" tab to access all available VeeCon tickets that are on sale while supplies last. Click on any available token and follow all steps presented to make sure your burn is successful.

Step 3 Once your burn is completed, you will notice a receipt available for the completed burn. (See attached image below).

Step 4 AND if you head to My Profile on https://veefriends.com/ you will able to checkout your exchanged history. Please note, IMX has a delay in their indexer, which means you may burn your BOOK GAMES tokens for VeeCon 2022 Ticket NFTs, but still see them on TokenTrove. In this instance, your BOOK GAMES tokens cannot be sold/transferred, because they have already been burned. And once the IMX indexer processes normally, the tokens will then disappear from your wallet, this can take up to a few hours to complete. As long as you see the VeeCon Exchanged receipt & the token in your My Profile on VeeFriends website, it means the transaction was complete. Now, you will just need to wait for IMX indexer to process your tokens to remove them from your wallet.
