The VeeFriends Mini Drop for Wolf Game's Alpha Game is finally upon us! We could not be more excited for eligible wallets to begin receiving your airdrops today. We have lots of information regarding the details of this airdrop in this blog post, but first, a recap for those who may not be familiar with Wolf Game's Alpha Game.

What is Wolf Game?

Wolf Game is an Ethereum-based game and NFT risk protocol. Participants take on the roles of Wolves and Sheep (and more recently, Farmers and Landowners), competing for the most precious of resources, $WOOL. In the current game, Alpha Game, the 14 Alpha Wolves have set out to attack opposing packs while fortifying their own with the power of the staked Wolves and Sheep traveling with them and the $WOOL they have accrued.

What is Wolf Game's connection to VeeFriends?

Gary is a holder of 2 of the 14 "Alpha 8" wolves - the most powerful in Wolf Game - and his trusty stewards AJ and JMo have been leading his wolf packs through Alpha Game over the past several months.

To celebrate the journey of the incredible game, certain VeeFriends holders and qualified Alpha Game stakers will be airdropped this new Wolf Pack Mini Drop.

Who is Eligible?

There were two ways to be eligible to receive the VeeFriends x Wolf Pack NFT Mini Drop:

1) VeeFriends Series 1: Shrewd Sheep, Lit Lamb, or Workout Wolf Holders and VeeFriends Series 2: Whimsical Wolf Holders

VeeFriends holders of the following tokens, who were holding the characters at the time of their respective snapshots will be receiving this airdrop, regardless of their Wolf Game involvement! For Series 1 holders, the snapshot was communicated and taken on 2/14/22 with a deadline of 11:59 pm ET. For Series 2 Whimsical Wolf holders, the snapshot will be taken on 6/23/22 with a deadline of 11:59 am ET.

• Series 1 Shrewd Sheep

• Series 1 Lit Lamb

• Series 1 Workout Wolf

• Series 2 Whimsical Wolf

2) Alpha Game players that staked either sheep, wolves, or 20,000+ $WOOL (or more) with either AJ or JMo's packs (or both) prior to specific communicated snapshot dates

To be eligible for the Mini Drop, Alpha Game players needed to have staked EITHER a sheep, a wolf OR 20,000+ $WOOL with either team prior to the 2/14/22 11:59 pm ET first cut-off; or if after 2/14/22: two sheep, a wolf OR 40,000+ $WOOL prior to the 3/21/22 11:59 pm ET second cut-off snapshot with either AJ or JMo's wolf packs. If an individual has met the staking requirement on both teams (i.e. have animals or 20K/40K $WOOL staked with both AJ and JMo), they will be airdropped two NFTs!

After the two snapshots on 2/14/22 and 3/21/22, our third and final wallet confirmation snapshot was taken on 6/20/22 at 11:59 pm. To note, the original staking duration expectation was through the end of Alpha Game in its entirety - which remains ongoing - thus this final snapshot took place earlier than necessary, which we hope stakers appreciate.

Tell Me More About This Mini Drop!

VeeFriends Mini Drops was launched on October 31st, 2021. It is a limited sub-collection of surprise drops for the VeeFriends community that focuses on collaboration, scarcity, and VeeFriends characters' cultural longevity. It includes collections such as SpookyVees, Gift Goat Artist NFTs, and Anwar Carrots.

What is this reward?

This Wolf Pack Mini Drop NFT is designed in partnership with Wolf Game O.G. and lead community animator @TerminatusX. The drop is a thank you on behalf of Gary, the VeeFriends team, Wolf Pack stewards to their loyal pack stakers, and holders.

Will this release be a part of any existing VeeFriends Collection?

Yes - this release will be residing within the VeeFriends Mini Drops Collection. Like the others in the collection, the Wolf Pack mini drop tokens will be ERC-721s.

Will the NFTs be airdropped or will there be a mint?

Eligible VeeFriends holders and Wolf Game stakers are being airdropped their Wolf Pack NFTs**.**

When is the airdrop taking place?

As you read this very blog post, the airdrop process is beginning to commence! Specifically, today, August 10th at 12:00 PM EDT is the official start time of the airdrop. The process will take an hour or two to complete in full. As such, do not worry if you are not seeing your token immediately appear. We will confirm once the airdrop is complete across all wallets.

How many total tokens are being airdropped to eligible wallets?

What are the details of the art behind the drop and any associated generative/rarity elements?

We are thrilled to have @TerminatusX as our artist for this release. And it should come as no surprise that he absolutely crushed it. There are three distinct NFT versions, each with entirely unique animations and associated rarity levels that recipients will be eligible to receive (all wallets will share the same odds, chosen at random):

The three variations an eligible wallet can receive are the following:

To make things even more interesting, we had @TerminatusX design 16 distinct Wolf Game-inspired "frames", also of varying rarities, and combined them with the three main animations for a total of 48 possible frame + animation combinations. Frames will be assigned at random to the animations prior to the drop as well. What are the 16 frame designs and associated airdrop probabilities you ask?

The Farm ("Core" White Sheep, 60% Chance)

Finally, in addition to the framed animation combinations wallets can receive, there is an even rarer possibility for the very few luckiest wallets to receive any of three one-of-one "Pack Relics", which include three animations, also made by @TerminatusX, that AJ and JMo posted over the course of Alpha Game. Note, there will not be any generative framing aspect of these three 1/1 Relics - only three total tokens, one for each, have been made - putting their airdrop probability at a tantalizing 0.04% a piece, or 0.12% total chance of receiving a Relic.
