There are so many new terms in web3, tons of project updates, and what does G.O.O. mean? And something about Series 2, but what is Series 1? With our community growing and the VeeFriends ecosystem evolving, we believe it would be beneficial to those inside and outside the community to have a breakdown of all the VeeFriends Collections.
VeeFriends Series 1
Launched on May 11th, 2021
This is the genesis series for VeeFriends launched via dutch-auction on May 11th, 2021. There are a total of 10,255 tokens based on 268 characters originally hand-drawn by Gary. Each token also provides exclusive access to VeeCon, a three-year super-conference Gary is hosting. This is the original VeeFriends series, and will forever be the premium collection that Gary works to provide the most value and benefits for holders. They are only available through the secondary market on OpenSea.
G.O.O. (Gary Originally Owned)
Within VeeFriends Series 1, you may have heard the word G.O.O. (debatable pronunciation: like "food" or "go") aka Gary Originally Owned. There are 10,255 total VeeFriends tokens, but at launch, there were only 9,013 available. This is because Gary kept 1,242 tokens (over 12% of the supply) for his own collection.
GOOs are a highly limited, sought-after supply of VeeFriends, and will always have special significance since Gary was their OG owner. Each GOO can be identified on the VeeFriends website and OpenSea via the GOO badge/Property.
VeeFriends Mini Drops

VeeFriends Mini Drops is a limited sub-collection of VeeFriends that focuses on collaboration, scarcity, and VeeFriends characters' cultural longevity.

Spooky Vees: On Halloween 2021, VeeFriends introduced 31 unique 1 of 1 pieces of artwork featuring the Halloween-themed VeeFriends characters. These NFTs were eligible to claim on a first-come, first-served basis by those who held a Halloween VeeFriend. From there, the inaugural class of Mini Drops was born.
Anwar's Self-Aware Hare: A mementos for Self-Aware Hare's holders for the character's first collaboration between VeeFriends x Anwar Carrots release of a limited-edition apparel capsule: Self-Aware Hare Carrots.
Gift Goat NFTs: The Gift Goat is a premium VeeFriends token verifiable for 18 total exclusive gifting experiences curated by GaryVee and the VeeFriends team. Each gifting experience consists of 1 physical gift AND 1 NFT. Each curated Gift Goat Gift NFT also lives in the VeeFriends Mini Drops collection as an exclusive NFT series with a supply of 555, to match the 555 supply of Gift Goat tokens.
BOOK GAMES

On Aug. 27th, 2021, GaryVee announced his new book " Twelve and a Half" with the community through a 3-hour live stream. On the live stream, Gary shared that for every 12 books someone ordered during a one-day promotion period, they will receive a special gift - an NFT via claimed airdrop. VeeFriends Series 2
Launch Date Spring 2022
While Series 1 rarities are all about the background color, the original VeeFriends drawings come to life in Series 2 with character evolved look, poses, and scenes. All Series 2 NFTs are1/1 uniquely generated combinations of the character in one of 8 different poses and in front of one of the 78 Series 2 scenes.
The collection features 236 original characters from VeeFriends Series 1 and 15 new characters created only in Series 2.
There are 55,555 VeeFriends Series 2 one of one NFTs created using combinations of 251 VeeFriends characters, 71scenes, and 6 poses. Each character has a total of 220 NFTs (except Gift Goat at 555), which consists of 214 core tokens and 6 spectacular 1/1 tokens (Gold, Lava, Hologram, Diamond, Bubble Gum, Emerald). Each NFT has a unique pose and background combination, with no two exactly alike! There are many different poses and backgrounds that each character can live in, highlighted here.
