HUGE Alpha on VeeFriends Series 2 and What Series 1 Holders Get

VeeFriends inaugural collection Series 1 dropped 9 months ago in May of 2021. Not only are the 10,255 Series 1 NFTs the holy grail of VeeFriends, but with the news of Series 2 launching in April, Series 1 holders will be receiving a special NFT that no one else can initially own (more details below). Another exciting development is that all NFTs in VeeFriends Series 2 will be a true 1 of 1 with a combination of different characters, poses, and backgrounds making up the complete token artwork.

If you are not already aware, all VeeFriends Series 1 NFTs are available to be bought and sold on secondary markets, here is a link to the lowest floor prices on OpenSea. Please note, the claiming of the Free Series 2 NFT for Series 1 holders will not start until April, so there is still an opportunity to purchase a Series 1 NFT for the claim. Let's get right into the full breakdown of what Series 1 VeeFriends holders will get in Series 2.

Every Series 1 holder will be able to claim for free (plus gas) a Series 2 NFT of their current character(s). Series 1 holders will receive exclusive access to a special character "pose" called "Evolving" (Poses will be a big trait in Series 2). The Series 2 characters in their Evolving poses will only be able to be claimed by VeeFriends Series 1 holders and can only be claimed by having VeeFriends Series 1 NFT(s). In other words, the evolving pose in our opinion will be the most sought-after pose of all the poses and will not be available in the Friends List/General Public Mint of the Series 2 drop.

Example: If your wallet holds (2) VeeFriends Series 1 NFTs, you will be able to claim (2) VeeFriends Series 2 NFTs (Free + Gas).

The Breakdown of What VeeFriends Series 1 Holders Will Mint in Series 2

Below we will breakdown the type of character each VeeFriends Series 1 holder will be eligible to claim for free ( plus gas) based on their VeeFriends Series 1 Group property:

Admission Tokens: Total Supply 9,400

VeeFriends Series 1 holders of an Admission Token(s) will be receiving the same Character that they own with the exclusive "evolving pose." Spectaculars will NOT be receiving the "evolving pose", but have their own special spectacular design when claiming their free VeeFriends Series 2 NFT.
Spectacular Token(s) will be receiving the same Character that they own not in "evolving pose", but now in their special Series 2 Spectacular form! The Spectacular for Series 2 characters is no longer just a background property, but the entire character has now evolved into the Spectacular type. In our opinion, this is huge for our spectacular holders, as it means that all the Series 2 Spectaculars will be owned by the Series 1 Spectacular holders (excluding the 15 new characters), and there will be none in the general mint! The one exception to this is coming in a surprise announcement later that will introduce the one NEW Spectacular edition to Series 2, more details on how to mint the NEW Spectacular edition will be announced in the coming weeks. Similar to Series 1, these Spectaculars are the rarest of the collection from a collectors perspective. Additionally, Spectacular holders will be elated to hear there is another surprise for them on claim day, more details to come.

Gift Tokens (aka Gift Goats): Total Supply 555

VeeFriends Series 1 Gift Token, (aka a Gift Goat) holders, will be claiming the Series 2 Gift Goat character in a variation of two possible poses depending on your Gift Goat Edition Number (odd or even). Please note, there is no utility of gifts in Series 2 Gift Goats.

Access Tokens: Total Supply 300

All VeeFriends Series 1 Access Token characters ( Facetime Frog, Hangout Hawk, Dinner Deer, etc.) will be retiring as NFTs, but we will continue to develop the intellectual property of these characters. Access Token holders will be given a randomized "evolving" character when they go to claim their free mint (plus fees) of VeeFriends Series 2 NFT!

NOTE: VeeFriends Series 1 holders have until 12/31/2022 to claim their free VeeFriends Series 2 NFT. You must own the VeeFriends Series 1 NFT when claiming the Series 2 NFT. After the deadline, the NFT will be unclaimable and transferred to a special VeeFriends Wallet.

How Do I Know If a VeeFriends Series 1 NFT has Claimed their Series 2 NFT?

We will have a token ID checker on our website which will let the public look up whether or not a particular series 1 NFT has been used to claim its Series 2 character. This will be available on the VeeFriends website when the claim period opens.

Here is what we know of the VeeFriends Series 2 Supply Breakdown:

Total VeeFriends Series 2 Supply Count: 55,555

10,255 for VeeFriends Series 1 Holders (unclaimed goes to Special VeeFriends Wallet).
32,000 for Friends List (unclaimed NFTs during this period will go to the General store for Public Mint).
10,000 for the General Public Mint (plus any unminted from Friends List Sale).
3,300 for 15 New Characters (requires burning BOOK GAMES tokens, more details to come).
