There are 15 brand new characters being welcomed into the VeeFriends universe in our Series 2 Collection! Starting April 27th, eligible wallets will have an opportunity to mint them in exchange for BOOK GAMES NFTs if they are very, very, very, very, lucky - now the question remains, "how do I get the new characters?" With Layer 2 BOOK GAMES NFTs as burnable tokens, this is a unique, innovative process, so please read this blog post x3 if you're ready to shoot your shot at the new VeeFriends Characters!
How Do I Enter the Raffle for Each Character?
Each day, one of the 15 characters will be available for eligible wallets to enter a 24-hour raffle for a chance to burn required BOOK GAMES tokens in exchange for the specified new character.
At 5:55 PM EDT, there will be a snapshot taken of all wallets that contain the required BOOK GAMES tokens.
If your wallet met the requirements at the time of the snapshot, you will be eligible to enter the raffle for the specified new character.
NOTE: If your wallet met the requirements at the time of the snapshot, your Immutable (IMX) wallet address will be whitelisted and eligible to enter the raffle for the specified new character. Your IMX (Layer 2) wallet address is the same on Immutable as it is on mainnet (Layer 1).
If eligible, you will have 24 hours to manually enter the raffle for that specified character on the Web3Raffle website. The raffle will open at 6:55 PM EDT each day for 24 hours, and close at 6:55 PM EDT the following day.
NOTE: To make it easy to follow, please just check the VeeFriends Discord announcements or our verified Twitter where we will be posting the raffle sign-up for that day's raffle. The snapshot is ONLY to identify eligible wallets for the raffle - You WILL still need to visit the character's raffle site and enter the raffle to qualify.
I Entered the Raffle. How Do I Know If I Won?
After the 24-hour raffle period ends for a specific character - you can go back to that character's raffle page to see if your wallet won the raffle or not!
If you won, you will have until 05/31/2022 to be able to burn eligible BOOK GAMES tokens on the VeeFriends website for that new character that you won.
I Won! How Do I Burn BOOK GAMES Tokens To Get My NFT?
If you won the raffle for a new character, you will need to go to the official VeeFriends Website and burn the required BOOK GAMES tokens in exchange for the new Series 2 character.
NOTE: Once you successfully burned your BOOK GAMES tokens it may take up to 72 hours to airdrop your Series 2 new character token(s) to the designated wallet! We appreciate you being a Patient Panda.
TLDR;
3 Steps to Get a New Character:
- Hold Eligible BOOK GAMES tokens Prior to That Raffle's Snapshot
The only way to get an opportunity to mint one of these new characters is by holding eligible BOOK GAMES tokens at the time of the snapshot @ 5:55 PM EDT. For example, to get the Notorious Ninja you need to own 5 Black Frame BOOK GAMES tokens @ 5:55 PM EDT on April 28th (Day 2).
- Register for Character Raffle(s)
Each day, for 16 total days, there will be a 24-hour raffle for each character(s) where eligible wallets need to register into a raffle for the specific new character to win. If your wallet is selected, you have won and are eligible to mint the new character!
NOTE: You do not need to own the specific required BOOK GAMES tokens in your wallet during the raffle period as the eligibility snapshot will determine qualification for the raffle.
- Burn BOOK GAMES Tokens
If you have won the raffle for one of the new characters, you can visit the Series 2 minting site and burn your eligible BOOK GAMES tokens in exchange for the new VeeFriends Series 2 character that you've won. When successfully burned, it may take up to 72 hours for your Series 2 new character to be airdropped into your wallet.
The deadline to burn your BOOK GAMES tokens in exchange for the new character is 5/31/2022 - if you do not do so, this NFT will be considered forfeited.
Example:
Raffle Day 1 - Mindful Minokawa
Hold 5 Patience Lava BOOK GAMES tokens in your wallet @ 5:55 PM EDT on Raffle Day 4/27.
After 6:55 PM EDT, raffle site is live and you will have 24 hours to enter.
After 24 hours the raffle entry period has closed and shortly after you can check if you won on the raffle site.
If you won, you have until May 31st, 2022 to successfully burn your tokens in exchange for the Mindful Minokawa.
One hour prior to the close of the Mindful Minokawa Raffle , the snapshot for the raffle of the next character, the Notorious Ninja, is taken.
