Following the red-hot debut of Lava Variant #23 (868 burns!), we're officially opening burn windows for Comic Book Lava Variants #24, #25, and #26. These will be three consecutive opportunities to claim a made-to-order, lava-inspired physical comic book that can't be purchased anywhere else.
Check below for details on each of the upcoming Lava Variant burn windows.
What Is a Lava Variant?
If you're catching up, Lava Variants are alternate-cover editions of VeeFriends Comic Books, available exclusively through Burn Island.
To claim a Lava Variant, you must burn the required BOOK GAMES tokens during the designated burn window on Burn Island. In return, you receive a made-to-order, physically printed, Lava edition of that issue.
The print run of that Lava Variant will be determined entirely by how many tokens are burned. Once the window closes, that variant's print count is locked forever.
The Burn Windows For Comic Book #24, #25, & #26
The next three burn windows for Lava Variants will only be open for five days. Mark your calendar!

How To Get A Lava Variant
You can receive a made-to-order Lava Variant of an upcoming VeeFriends comic book by taking the following steps:
Step 1 - Visit Burn Island
Head to Veefriends.com/burn-island during the active burn window.
Step 2 - Hold BOOK GAMES in your VeeFriends Wallet
In order to burn BOOK GAMES to receive a Lava Variant, your tokens must be in your VeeFriends Wallet.
Step 3 - Burn the required BOOK GAMES Token
Enter the Burn, select the required number and type of BOOK GAMES token(s) and confirm the burn. Each burn equals one Lava Variant.
Step 4 - Your Physical Comic Ships
After the window closes, your made-to-order Lava Variant comic book will be produced and shipped to you. The total print run is determined by total burns.

You can purchase BOOK GAMES in a simple process by following these steps:
Visit the "BOOK GAMES" collection on Rarible.
Sign in with your VeeFriends Wallet.
Click "BUY NOW" to complete your purchase.
Purchase with ETH on Base or supported fiat options.
Important Things to Know
These are made-to-order. We only print what gets burned for. There is no excess inventory. There is no restocking.
Each window is for a different issue. Burning during the #24 window gets you Lava Variant #24. Burning during the #25 window gets you #25, and so on. If you want all three, you'll need to participate in all three windows.
The Burn Requirement(s) for #25 and #26 will be confirmed on the Tuesday before the next Burn Window opens. For Lava Variant #24, the requirement is burning any one (1) BOOK GAMES token. Details for subsequent windows will be announced June 16th and June 23rd respectively. Stay tuned to our channels.
Once the window closes, it's over. There are no exceptions. If you miss a window, that specific Lava Variant will not be available again.
