VeeFriends is heading back to the UK for a weekend that celebrates anime, collectibles, and community at AnimeCon UK — the country's premier anime and manga convention. We'll be joining Card Con+, the official trading card zone of the event that brings the UK's card culture directly to the NEC Birmingham show floor.

What Is AnimeCon UK?

AnimeCon UK is a three-day celebration of Japanese pop culture, fandom, and creativity. It blends the energy of a festival, marketplace, and live experience across anime, art, music, cosplay, and now — trading cards.

Expect:

• Appearances from top anime voice actors

• 350+ artists and exhibitors offering original art, merch, and collectibles

• Cosplay showcases, Random Play Dance, and live entertainment

• Fan-led panels, creator meetups, and exclusive screenings

It's a full-spectrum anime experience built for fans, by fans. This event spans anime, art, music, cosplay, and now, trading cards with Card Con+.

What Is Card Con+?

Card Con+ is a dedicated area inside AnimeCon UK and a high-energy spin-off of Card Con UK, where VeeFriends made its debut earlier this year. In partnership with AnimeCon, Card Con+ brings a concentrated dose of the UK's top trading card event directly to the convention floor.

Featuring 100+ vendor tables and a curated lineup of top-tier partners, it's the perfect destination for fans chasing One Piece pulls, Pokémon grails, Yu-Gi-Oh! hits.

Visit the VeeFriends Table

VeeFriends will be on-site at Card Con+ at AnimeCon UK to connect with the UK collecting community and introduce more fans to the world we're building.

Stop by the table to learn more about our characters, card collections, the growing VeeFriends ecosystem, and how we're blending collectibles, storytelling, and community. We're excited to meet all of the collectors, fans, and first-timers!
