VeeFriends Series 1 is going through a refresh on OpenSea on how to best sort and filter the 10,255 VeeFriends Series 1 NFTs in order to most easily identify the character and or token you're looking for! We hope the new update improves searchability and provides more clarity and simplicity around the data and metadata displayed by any given token.

All of the framework of each VeeFriends token remains the same, but the filtering update enhances the experience of the marketplace for users to better navigate the collection for characters, rarities, access, and more. This update allows the VeeFriends team to highlight, build, and develop around the core properties within the VeeFriends ecosystem.

Although previous attributes have been removed from the OpenSea view, the data remains and can still be utilized at any time. We are simply removing some properties to simplify the sorting and filtering process of navigating through the VeeFriends Series 1 collection.

Here are a Few Specific Improvements:

• To improve the viewability of each NFT, the "Adjective" and "Animal" properties were consolidated to create "Character."

• "Edition #" and "Editions" were combined to create a full serial number display.

• "OG Buyer" and "OG Price" have been removed from Opensea's display to enhance searchability. This data exists at all times on the blockchain and is viewable on each token's etherscan.

• Access tokens have been updated to clarify if access is virtual, and to indicate "Group," "One on One," and "Competition" access types.

• The "Gift Goat" token now includes a metadata label to specify how many gifts are remaining.

• Metadata sections titled "Conference" and "Creator" have both been removed, as every VeeFriends Series 1 grants future admission to VeeCon for 2023 and 2024, and all VeeFriends Series 1 tokens were created for VeeFriends by Gary Vaynerchuk.

• "Category" section (such as Invertebrate, Reptile, Amphibian, etc) and the "Property" section (such as Farm Animals, Jungle, Safari, etc) were omitted from the view of each token.

• "G.O.O." has become its own category, signifying the VeeFriends tokens that are Gary Originally Owned, minted to his wallet and withheld from the initial sale. Specific drawings named "Just Art" have also remained in the metadata as its own section!

Some of these metadata groups verified different channels within the VeeFriends Discord, but we are excited to develop new role(s) and channel(s) in ways that will further drive and enhance the VeeFriends community!
