There's rare - and then there's one-of-a-kind. Sketch Cards in Topps VeeFriends Chrome 2025 are some of the most electrifying inserts you can pull. Each card is a true 1/1: an original, hand-drawn piece of art by GaryVee, a community member, or an artist invited to bring the VeeFriends universe to life, one sketch at a time.
From playful minimalism to bold, full-color detail, the range of art styles is wide - and part of the thrill is never knowing what might come out of a pack. Want proof? Take a scroll through @VeeCardsTrack, where collectors are tracking the latest pulls, showcasing the jaw-dropping variety, and surfacing just how special these cards are.
Sketch Cards are rare collectibles featuring original hand-drawn artwork. First introduced in the 2001 Topps Marvel Legends set, these cards became a popular feature in many non-sport trading card sets. Unlike traditional printed cards, each sketch card is a unique piece of art, offering a personal touch that connects collectors directly to the artists. Over time, sketch cards have evolved from simple pencil sketches to intricate, full-color works created using mediums like oils, watercolors, and markers.
In 2014, Sketch Cards made their debut in Topps Chrome through Star Wars Chrome Perspectives and Wacky Packages Chrome, cementing their place in the premium Chrome format. Since 2019, they've become a staple in Topps Chrome entertainment sets.
But not all Sketch Cards are created the same. A major innovation came in 2024 with the introduction of Blank Canvas Sketch Cards in Star Wars Chrome Galaxy, featuring hand-drawn art directly on full-bleed white cards by Lucasfilm animators. Now in 2025, Blank Canvas Sketch Cards expand to a new franchise: Topps VeeFriends Chrome.
Sketch Cards are a celebration of originality - each one a 1-of-1, hand-drawn piece of art that exists nowhere else. While artists may contribute multiple sketches, every card is completely unique, signed on the back, and designed to stand out as a true collectible. Community Member Sketch Cards take that rarity even further: each contributor submitted just one card, making these true "1 of 1 of 1" pulls!
Another standout feature? Sketch Cards go beyond the 100-character base set. That means your favorite VeeFriend - especially if they didn't make the main checklist - might still show up in sketch form. It's a hidden treasure hunt built right into the rip.
The Topps VeeFriends Chrome 2025 Sketch Cards feature artwork from celebrities and influencers to pop art icons, sports art giants, street art gems, and even VeeFriends own comic art team. VeeFriends has also partnered with community members who will each have one exclusive sketch card. This is a first-of-its-kind collaboration, allowing VeeFriends collectors to celebrate the community's contributions while also collecting a unique piece of artwork.

Gary Vaynerchuk also gets a special addition to the set this year with the "Blank Canvas" Sketch Cards. Originally introduced in the 2024 Topps Chrome Star Wars Galaxy set, Blank Canvas sketch cards are usually reserved for production and concept artists making them one of the highest honors in the world of sketch cards. Gary's "Blank Canvas" sketch cards are a premium pull in the Topps VeeFriends Chrome 2025 collection.
Counterfeit Topps VeeFriends Chrome 2025 Sketch Cards have surfaced on secondary markets, including eBay. Watch for red flags like missing VeeFriends and Topps logos on the front, or incorrect backs without the VeeFriends branding, artist signature, or legal disclaimers. If something feels off, cross-check with @VeeCardsTrack to compare it against verified pulls or reach out to the VeeFriends team. Stay sharp - and help protect the integrity of the collection by reporting listings that you think are fakes.
