The Road To The 2026 TCG Championship

VeeFriends TCG Championship Qualifier #1: Texas Meet-Up

The 2026 TCG season kicked off in March in Lufkin, Texas, during the annual VeeFriends Community Texas Meet-Up. Thanks to community members Wh1skyjak and ibenkind, who helped make the tournament possible, the biggest annual VeeFriends community gathering set the stage for our first championship qualifier of the year.

After battling through the Swiss rounds and single-elimination bracket, [[Dantheman](https://x.com/dantheman72813)](https://x.com/dantheman72813) and BrofitAZ emerged as the final two competitors. In the championship match, Dantheman secured a decisive 2–0 victory, adding another tournament win to his impressive résumé. Having already won the 2025 championship, Dantheman started the 2026 season right where he left off: on top!

VeeFriends TCG Championship Qualifier #2: San Diego Comic-Con

The second championship qualifier brought VeeFriends TCG to San Diego Comic-Con, where another field of determined competitors battled for a spot at the top.

After nearly flawless runs through the tournament, [[G3 Vince](https://x.com/g3creativeinc)](https://x.com/g3creativeinc) and [Mkmk](https://x.com/the_mkmk_) found themselves facing off in the finals. With his first tournament victory on the line, G3 Vince rose to the occasion, defeating Mkmk 2–0 to claim the championship! It was a breakout performance for G3 Vince, who officially added his name to the 2026 season's growing list of winners.

VeeFriends TCG Championship Qualifier #3: The National

The final championship qualifier took place at the National Sports Collectors Convention, where competitors gathered for their last opportunity to make a statement before the season-ending championship.

Once again, [Dantheman](https://x.com/dantheman72813) battled his way into the finals, putting himself in position to add yet another tournament victory to his résumé. But standing in his way was [Est4brook](https://x.com/est4brook), a newer competitor determined to make a name for himself. Unlike the previous qualifiers, this championship match went the distance! With the series tied 1–1, it all came down to a decisive third game. And when it mattered most, Est4brook delivered, defeating Dantheman 2–1 to become the winner of the final qualifier of the 2026 season!
