The Manga treatment is making the leap from Topps Chrome to Burn Island.

After returning in 2026 Topps Chrome VeeFriends with 100 new characters, the fan-favorite Manga Speckle insert is expanding into the VeeFriends Series 2 NFT collection again with the return of Manga Pose.

Starting October 1st at 12pm ET, eligible VeeFriends Series 2 holders can burn one Book Games token to transform their character's existing Resting or Manifesting pose into Manga Pose. The activation features the same 100 characters in the 2026 Topps Chrome VeeFriends Manga Speckle checklist, excluding only Courageous Cockatoo who was featured in the 2025 Manga Swap. This event brings the bold, heavy-ink energy of the Manga artwork from VeeFriends cards to VeeFriends digital collectibles.

What Is a Manga Pose?

The Manga Pose reimagines VeeFriends characters through the bold visual language first seen in the Manga Speckle insert from Topps Chrome VeeFriends.

Introduced in Topps Chrome VeeFriends 2025 and returning by popular demand for 2026, Manga Speckle takes VeeFriends characters and transforms them through a traditional manga-inspired aesthetic built around heavy inkwork, dynamic compositions, and action-oriented poses.

For the 2026 Topps Chrome release, the insert returned with a completely fresh checklist of 100 characters, including Driven Dragon, Calm Clam, Flex'n Fox, Gritty Ghost, and many more. Now, those same 99 characters are bringing that Manga energy to VeeFriends Series 2 NFTs.

These newly transformed VeeFriends will have their Pose metadata updated to the existing 'Manga' trait and continue the legacy of last year's Manga swap. You can view all current Manga Pose Series 2 NFTs on Opensea here.

Burn to Swap: Manga Pose

During this Burn Island activation, eligible VeeFriends Series 2 holders can transform their character with the new Manga Pose by burning one Book Games token.

To participate, your Series 2 NFT must feature one of the 99 eligible 2026 Manga Speckle characters in either its Resting or Manifesting pose.

Once the Pose Swap is complete, the pose artwork on your existing Series 2 token changes to its Manga Pose. No new token is minted, and the burn and Pose Swap are irreversible.
