What Are VeeFriends Color Variants?

A Color Variant depicts a character's features with a purple or green variation instead of its usual appearance. There are 10 characters with Color Variants in the 2026 Topps Chrome VeeFriends set, plus 2 ultra-rare variants.

These Color Variants are an homage to the legendary 1999 Pokémon Base Set Pikachu "Red Cheeks" variation, which was a rare short print in place of yellow cheeks.

In 2025 Chrome, the Very, Very, Very, Very, Lucky Black Cat became the first VeeFriends character to feature a Color Variant with 5 different eye color variations. Green eyes was the rarest Color Variant, and it sold for ~$2,000 in PSA 10 condition.

In 2026, the concept expands in a substantial way: 10 characters, each with 2 Color Variants.

Last Glass Standing brings a fun twist to the Color Variant chase. With Gary being a wine guy, this one feels extra special to him.
