Meet Saweetie

Growing up in a multi-ethnic household with an African-American father and a Filipino-Chinese mother, Saweetie was exposed to a rich tapestry of musical influences, shaping her unique sound and identity. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Communications from USC, Saweetie fully immersed herself in her music career, amassing over 5.4 billion streams with hits like the RIAA certified GOLD "Tap In," triple-platinum "My Type," and double platinum "Best Friend" featuring Doja Cat, which also earned two GRAMMY nominations.
