What is Burn Island?

Burn Island is a deflationary platform in the VeeFriends World that allows VeeFriends NFT holders to burn their NFTs for physical or virtual rewards. Utilizing deflationary technology, token burning can be performed with ANY NFT. However, Burn Island will primarily be used for those on the VeeFriends smart contracts, including BOOK GAMES.

To participate, VeeFriends holders must create a VeeFriends account and sign in to the website, check their eligibility, and select from available exchanges. With options ranging from 1-to-1 swaps to sweepstakes, there's something for everyone on Burn Island.

Designed primarily for VeeFriends NFT holders, Burn Island offers a unique and dynamic experience, bringing together the possibility of a variety of NFT holders participating in the eruptions.

What Does "Burning" an NFT Mean?

Burning an NFT means removing it permanently from circulation by sending it to a burn address with no ownership. Once you burn an NFT, it is no longer owned by you, nor do we own it. The burned NFTs will be publicly shown on the burn site and cannot be recovered.

It's important to note that burning an NFT is a permanent action, and it cannot be undone. Once an NFT is burned, it is gone forever and cannot be recovered.

What are Eruptions?

Burn Island is a unique deflationary platform that offers users the opportunity to access its exclusive rewards through a series of sequential events known as 'Eruptions'. Each Eruption will have different BURN eligibility requirements for the rewards. Burn Island Eruptions Start Time will not overlap. Each event will have a predetermined start and end date. This approach ensures that each Eruption has its unique characteristics highlighted at launch. Furthermore, detailed information on each Eruption will be provided before its commencement to ensure Eruptions adhere to regulatory requirements.
