VeeFriends Series 1 Zero Cool cards were sold through a blind dutch auction on zerocool’s website in March 2022, with a clearing price of $2,150 per box. Only 800 boxes were available to the public, and each box contains 10 premium cards with different rarity tiers and exclusive chase cards. These cards are now only available on the secondary market, such as eBay, where they can fetch higher prices due to their scarcity and desirability.
VeeFriends Series 2 Compete and Collect cards were offered as a surprise utility for all community members who minted a VeeFriends Series 2 NFT in April 2022. Each NFT minter had the option to claim a free box of 52 cards that can be played as a card game. The ability to claim a box was only available during the primary purchase of a VeeFriends Series 2 NFT, and secondary market purchasers are not eligible to receive these cards. The claimed boxes are currently being shipped to the eligible minters.
VeeFriends Series 1 Zero Cool cards feature the original hand-drawn characters from the VeeFriends Series 1 NFT collection, printed on premium paper with metallic foil stamp and soft-touch coating. The cards have rarity tiers that mirror the NFT collection, such as Core, Rare, Very Rare, Epic, and Spectacular. The cards also include autographs and sketches by Gary Vaynerchuk, the creator of VeeFriends.
VeeFriends Series 2 Compete and Collect cards feature the evolved and life-like characters from the VeeFriends Series 2 NFT collection, printed on standard paper with different card backs. The cards have rarity tiers based on the color of the card border, such as White, Green, Blue, Purple, Red, and Black. The cards also include art and autograph inserts by Gary Vaynerchuk and other artists.
The VeeFriends card game is called VeeFriends Compete and Collect, and it is a simple and fun game where the goal is to collect as many cards as possible by battling with other players. Every VeeFriends character has a total score made up of their aura, skill, and stamina. Based on the card’s rarity, there is a multiplier applied to create their total score. To begin, two players prepare for gameplay with an equal amount of their own cards. Players will battle head-to-head with their cards, flipping them over one by one. The player with the highest character score wins and takes (for good!) the other player’s card. In the event of a tie, first, each player places three cards face down, then at the same time puts a fourth card face up. The player with the highest character score wins all eight cards. The game ends when one player has no more cards left.
